I discovered this brilliant Aussie band, The Temper Trap, from the (500) Days Of Summer soundtrack. Their song Sweet Disposition fits beautifully in the melancholy movie - my favourite of the summer. My favourite track off their album Conditions, released a few months ago, has to be Love Lost. Hands down. Dougy Mandagi has such a refreshing voice. I look forward to seeing them play The Horseshoe Tavern, October 20th.

Yay! Another fan of the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack. Every song on the soundtrack made me want to sit under the stars.
ReplyDeleteYessss! It's really enchanting. the movie is bittersweet. I hate it but love it at the same time. I can't get the "she's got you high" song out of my head!
